UPDATE
The University Administration has arrived at the following resolution after an extensive discussion with the Student Union Government.
• Internet fees for FIRST yearsremains N12,000.
• Internet fees for Other Years (Second year to Final Year) is N8,000.
• The laptop fee is compulsory for all FIRST YEAR students but there is an option to either pay once or in 3 instalments.
 70,000 for those who can pay once.
 For those to pay over three instalments, they will make a yearly payment of N25,000 spread over three sessions.
 The yearly laptop installment will be added to the student’s Service charge for the affected sessions.
• All Non First Year students who want to be part of the laptop program will have to make a one-time payment of 70,000. There is no installment provision for Non First Year students.

Acceptance Fee Payment Activated – Update…..

Student Registration Process flow for First Years Only

  1. Print out your name from the admission list published on the Website.
  2. Verify your account on the portal unnportal.unn.edu.ng
  3. Change password.
  4. Complete your Profile form.
  5. Submit the form.
  6. Sign out and login again using your Jamb Registration Number and Password
  7. Generate payment invoice for acceptance fee (Ensure the Banks use the Remita Retrieval Reference No on your invoice)
  8. Proceed to the bank to pay the acceptance fee on the REMITA Platform
  9. Proceed back to the portal and pay the acceptance fee online
  10. Generate payment invoice for other fees – (school fees, laptop fees (compulsory for first years),accommodation fees, etc)
  11. Proceed to the bank to pay the fees at the bank
  12. Proceed back to the portal and pay the fees online
  13. Get cleared by Admissions Office/Faculty officer with all relevant receipts and Certificates, at Ekpo Ref and Admissions Office in UNEC.
  14. QUALIFYING RESULT (O’ LEVEL).
  15. UNN ADMISSION LIST (Where your name appeared).
  16. JAMB ADMISSION LETTER.
  17. UTME RESULT SLIP.
  18. PUTME RESULT SLIP.
  19. ADVERT/SHOPPING FORM.
  20. BIRTH CERTIFICATE/ AFFIDAVIT/BAPTISMAL CERTIFICATE.
  21. ADMISSION NOTIFICATION SLIP.
  22. STUDENT’S PROFILE / BIODATA FORM.
  23. LETTER OF ATTESTATION.
  24. LOCAL GOVERNEMENT IDENTIFICATION LETTER.
  25. ACCEPTANCE FORM.
  26. LETTER OF UNDERTAKING.
  27. FEES RECEIPT.
  28. LAPTOP RECEIPT
  29. FULL CLEARANCE FORM.
  30. PROVISIONAL CLEARANCE FORM.
  31. Obtain Matric No automatically on the student portal after clearance by the Faculty Officer.
  32. Do your Biometric capturing at Ekpo Ref in UNN and ILN Building in UNEC.
  33. Collect your Laptop from ICT Hardware Team at Obieri Computing Centre in UNN and ILN Centre in UNEC (1st Years only).
  34. Log on to your profile and register your Courses online
  35. Get your Student Identity card at Obieri Computing Centre for Nsukka campus and ICT Centre at UNEC. (Once you are notified on the University website that it is ready)

Updated 2015/2016 Supplementary Admission List I….

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES OFFERED PROVISIONAL ADMISSIONS FOR THE 2015 /2016 ACADEMIC SESSION
Candidates offered provisional admission are required to adopt the following guidelines to regularize their acceptance of the offer:
 
1)     Visit the University of Nigeria website (www.unn.edu.ng) or portal (unnportal.unn.edu.ng), login your JAMB Registration number to generate and download a unique Payment Invoice for acceptance fee. Take the Invoice to any branch of Zenith bank, UBA, Fidelity Bank, Access Bank and First Bank on the Remita platform to pay twenty five thousand naira (N25, 000) acceptance fee. Ensure that the REMITA Number is keyed in appropriately at the bank and obtain a confirmation slip containing a Confirmation Number and your Invoice Number.
2) Visit the University of Nigeria website (www.unn.edu.ng) or portal (www.unnportal.unn.edu.ng) again and login your JAMB Registration Number, the Confirmation Number and Invoice Number, then print the Admission slip and complete the Acceptance Form online.
3) Proceed with other fee payments and registration as indicated on the University of Nigeria Website.

LECTURES/REGISTRATION GUIDELINES FOR SUCCESSFUL JUPEB CANDIDATES

On behalf of the Vice Chancellor and management of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, I congratulate you on your admission into the JUPEB programme for the 2015/16 academic session. As part of the activities planned for smooth take off, we shall organise a workshop for nominated teachers and facilitators. We shall also organise a one day orientation programme for all the students. Dates for these events shall be communicated in due course.

Projected Activities:

  • Lectures shall commence on Monday, 16th November, 2015.
  • Registration shall commence with the payment of ten thousand naira (N10,000) acceptance fee.
  • Afterwards Candidates will proceed to JUPEB office to continue with their registration after payments for biometric identity cards and JUPEB The latter will be supplied by the Central Coordinating Board, Lagos.
  • Subsequent fees shall be paid after the payment of the acceptance fee.
  • Please note that only those who paid the acceptance fees, school fees and external examinations registration fee shall subscribe to the students’ biometric identity cards and hence shall be eligible to participate in both internal and external examinations.
  • Details of the fees shall be published by 18th November, 2015.
  • Guidelines for payment of these fees and the deadline shall be uploaded before the end of next week.
  • Supplementary List shall be uploaded by 18th November, 2015
